The UI/UX Designer is a key participant in the Web Development process, interviewing clients and their audience members to uncover key goals and themes for the upcoming project. When the goals are set, the UI/UX Designer will strive to craft an interface that embodies those fundamental ideas through clear organizational structure, articulate labels and intuitive controls.
You bring a strong UX and web design background to the table and provide the team with insight and expertise. You feel comfortable sharing and promoting ideas, show confidence in your work, and have an interest in making improvements to the work itself, as well as supporting your fellow teammates. You are comfortable leading projects and taking on new and exciting challenges. You are both visually creative and technologically savvy.
Participate in Discovery interviews to uncover project goals
Perform detailed analysis of website, developing clear documentation that shows the site’s content and components
Study site analytics to gain knowledge about historical audience behavior
Articulate client goals, audience needs, and project themes in Findings document
Work with the SEO team to develop detailed site maps for expansive Web destinations
Create wireframe layouts and front-end designs for pages that present content and functionality with intuitive clarity and beautiful balance
Develop flow diagrams to demonstrate interactive functionality and animated interface elements
Present and defend your concepts with concrete tactical rationale
5+ years’ experience as a user interface designer, preferably within an agency environment
Deep knowledge of unique implicit goals of both content sites and marketing sites
Enthusiastic creativity; you are passionate about great ideas
Irrepressible desire to make things perfect
Great written and verbal communication skills
Strong portfolio showing UX solutions (wireframes, flows, etc) and web designs.
Expertise in tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, etc.
