Without a review, Philadelphia-based discount department store chain Jomar, Inc., has named LevLane as its first agency-of-record. In 2011, a fee-based budget will support a brand redesign, including brand I.D., store design, and social media outreach to existing customers. First new customer outreach, breaking in 2012, is themed “Retail Treasures,” and will include newspaper, online, transit, outdoor and broadcast advertising. Capitalized 2011 billings are $1.5 million.
Selection was based on LevLane’s presentation of retail case studies and capabilities. Jomar vp/marketing Mark Segal states, “Going into our 45th year in business, we’re looking to build up both our online presence and our Philly-area market share, especially within a younger demographic. LevLane’s retail experience, and their connectedness to everything Philly, will play a key role in Jomar’s business development plan.”
