Senior Digital Producer/Project Manager

The Senior Digital Producer/Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of digital projects, particularly larger, more complex initiatives that span multiple practice areas within the agency – from conception through completion. As a Digital Producer, you should be familiar with capacity planning, scheduling, scoping and estimating jobs, and managing multiple deadlines with conflicting priorities. Experience with software like Basecamp, JIRA and GitHub is a plus.


  • Manage all aspects of digital production for key agency accounts
  • Work with department lead to prepare statements of work, timelines and budgets for new projects
  • Collaborate with team to gather project requirements
  • Develop and manage project requirements documentation
  • Work with technology team to document functional and nonfunctional specifications
  • Identify necessary project resources, collaborating with discipline leads to ensure appropriate resources are in place throughout each project
  • Develop task lists and work breakdown structure for projects
  • Ensure that internal creative and technology teams understand and are aware of their specific deliverables/responsibilities and meet their deadlines on a daily basis
  • Ensure all projects meet timelines and budgets
  • Monitors requests that are out of scope and initiates additional estimates and approvals as needed
  • Oversee team members and delegate tasks
  • Engage internal teams and often the client on day-to-day project development milestones
  • Manage project scope, budget, and timelines and proactively notify account manager and agency management of issues and risks that may affect project success
  • Develop, communicate, and execute plans for addressing and mitigating the impact of issues and risks
  • Coordinate the quality control process for all deliverables
  • Seek out and champion better internal processes to help enhance agency efficiency



  • Minimum 5 years project management experience managing the simultaneous development of highly visible Web-based, interactive projects and applications
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Experience with software like Basecamp and JIRA
  • Attention to detail; outstanding problem-solving/multi-tasking skills; strong follow through skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Ability to engage, direct, and influence multi-faceted project teams, clients, and third-party partners
  • Ability to communicate a clear understanding of the balance between immediate project issues and the big picture affecting ongoing client relationships
  • Previous programming/coding skills and/or knowledge of modern coding and programming practices a plus
  • A thorough and practical understanding of emerging digital marketing trends, news, and issues that may affect and benefit the agency and clients
