When our local restaurants were stuck in the trenches of the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew we had to do our part. Partnering with our long-time client Center City District, we launched a campaign to remind Philadelphians that the best way they could support their favorite restaurants was by ordering takeout. And how did we do that? Simple. We took an American icon and put a BURRITO in her hand. By bringing a modern twist to classic wartime posters, we aimed to inspire an entire city to step up to the plate and save our restaurants. In return for their delicious do-gooding, everyone who ordered takeout received a shiny new “I TAKE OUT” sticker so they could wear, and more importantly, #share this takeout movement with pride.
