LevLane is currently searching for an experienced Organic Social Media Manager for our organic social media team. This role will serve as our in-house expert, review the work of and mentor more junior team members, develop organic social media strategies and campaigns, and execute on those strategies to grow a client’s business through a variety of online and social channels. In this role, the Social Media Manager ensures that the agency provides:
Sound and responsible social media / content strategy and planning.
Proper and innovative execution of work in all areas on schedule.
Creative copy and imagery that captures the client’s brand.
A consistently superior creative product.
Staying on the cutting edge with emerging trends and educating clients and team members.
Oversee and coordinate with team members on all client deliverables, ensuring they demonstrate deep thought with social media integration and are in line with client goals, objectives and expectations.
Research topics relevant to client work and develop workable social media and content plans as well as realistic timetables.
Collaborate with the Account Team in creation of marketing recommendations, strategies, and actions for the client.
Create monthly social media calendars.
Create graphics/videos/ or work with our content creators to create compelling imagery.
Prepare reports and provide analysis and recommendations.
Manage one junior team member to start, overseeing and approving all client work including social media calendars and reports.
Demonstrate thought leadership by writing agency POV’s and promoting the agency through speaking engagements within the professional community.
Educate departments within the agency about the social space to create integration across the agency, influencing overall site and business strategies.
Share key learnings from successful social campaigns to all departments and teams within the agency to promote collaboration.
Provide strategic innovation by proposing new ways to help the agency stay ahead of the curve in the social space.
Extensive social media experience required – agency experience strongly preferred.
Have worked with, understand, and can create organic social media plans that follow pharmaceutical and life sciences regulations.
Creative background with a strong sense and feel for storytelling through visual and written content for both B2B and B2C clients.
Experience in client-facing roles.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest expertise required.
Knowledge of and familiarity with other minor and or emerging social media, as well as forums and additional platforms (Reddit, Tik-Tok, Twitch, etc.).
Strong understanding of how paid and organic social media require different strategies as well as how they work together.
Strong communication skills, excellent writing and presentation skills a must.
Strong leadership capabilities.
Proven ability to educate, train, persuade.
Consume a well-rounded diet of content on different subject matters from a variety of outlets and delivery platforms.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a content/social media strategist in a creative agency, digital agency environment, or client-side.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
