Media Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • paid media activity
  • Communication with media sales companies to gather information and confirm Agency buys and executions
  • Preparation of analytical reports in support of both digital and traditional media buyers
  • Working with the Agency’s accounting department in the timely billing
    and invoice approval of media buys
  • Communicating buy orders and commercial traffic instructions to media vendors
  • Learning and utilizing the Agency buying software in completing
    buy orders and billing
  • Learning and utilizing the various web-based media platforms for the execution and stewardship of media buys and billing
  • Working with the Agency’s production department in developing the necessary information about closing dates and mechanical requirements
  • Provides support to the media department to define campaign success metrics and, at campaign close, provide summaries of execution and analysis of performance

Requirements

  • A four-year degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the media role within an advertising agency
  • Comfort and skill in working with analytics and spreadsheets
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to keep current in latest trends in online marketing and test this knowledge in marketing initiatives
  • Professionalism and integrity necessary to represent the agency
  • Experience and working knowledge of media research tools and resources
  • A creative thinker with a passion for generating great ideas on behalf of our clients
  • An articulate, friendly, “whatever-it-takes” attitude, along with a strong work ethic
