Media Manager and/or Media Coordinator

Summary:

Our Media Supervisors are responsible for developing audience targeting and channel strategy recommendations across their client assignments. The Supervisor leads the effort to present plans, secure approvals, and implement buys to meet calendar plans. This includes working in a cross-discipline agency environment and developing strong relationships with our clients. Reporting and analysis of media results with a perspective on recommending strategic and tactical changes to the marketing mix is essential.

Research-to-Strategy:

  • Research and development of advertising media programs across spectrum of traditional and new media channels
  • Analysis of client marketing data leading to strategy setting
  • Interpretation of demographic data and secondary research to identify desired target audiences
  • Development of media plans / creation/maintenance of media flow chart and directives to guide buying process
  • In-depth knowledge of paid digital media concepts and audience trends management/reporting tools

Strategy-to-Results:

  • Develop, manage and execute media strategy for clients
  • Develop Execution Plan for new media campaigns
  • Determine measurement, testing and analysis needs for client campaigns
  • Accountable for the delivery of all mediaprojects to agreed deadlines
  • Ensure mediateam is managing day-to-day tasks Optimization Efforts:
    • Goal Conversion Tracking & Analysis
    • Traffic/CPC/CTR Trend Analysis
    • Bid Management
    • Ad Creative Analysis
    • Geography Analysis
    • Day/Time Analysis
  • Directly responsible for managing account budgets
  • Analyze media reporting for accuracy and actionable insights
  • Seek, Find and Present results of media efforts
  • Present plans, execution and results to clients

Execution:

  • Evaluates potential delivery of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively drive KPIs
  • Works with media sales representatives to develop customized programs that meet client budgets
  • Maintains all media buys and is responsible for the post-buy analysis 

Manage:

  • Determine resources needed for client media campaigns, projects, requests
  • Assign resources based on client need and agency bandwidth
  • Audit both assigned client accounts and assist managers when needed
  • Ensure campaign budgets and revenue are accurate and synced with internal departments
  • Create opportunities for managers to report/present to clients
  • Review & approve manager-created campaigns, analysis and/or presentations
  • Represent media team in internal agency meetings

Lead:

  • Main point of contact for media reps for assigned clients
  • Execution & analysis of media/campaign tests
  • Execution & analysis of new media platforms
  • Analysis and Recommendation of media vendors
  • Proactively identify opportunities for department growth, understanding and expertise…regularly communicate them with the team
  • Foster learning and curiosity with media managers/coordinators

Qualifications:

  • Experience
    • Bachelors Degree
    • 5+ years of experience media planning andbuying
    • 5+ years of experience in online andoffline media
    • Strong written and presentation skills
    • Highly skilled in client management and client presentations
  • Technical Skills (preferred)
    • Proficient in Strata media buying software
    • Proficient in Advantage media buying software
    • Skilled in Google Analytics
    • Skilled in Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest ads, Snapchat ads and LinkedIn Ads
    • Experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager
