Life Sciences Project Manager

  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects from conception through completion
  • Serve as liaison between Account Management, Social Media/Content, and other inter-agency partners
  • Communicate project requirements and procure supporting materials to ensure that projects move through the agency in a timely manner
  • Communicate scheduled deadlines and provide effective warning when delivery dates may be in jeopardy
  • Monitor and follow-up with all appropriate departments on project development
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized files for all stages from concepts to completed pieces
  • Initiate, develop, drive, and revise schedules
  • Coordinate team briefings, internal reviews of creative, and all other meetings needed to complete any given project
  • Reinforce Agency process with all teams
  • Additional day-to-day duties:
    • Status reports
    • Schedule recurring meetings
    • Manage Veeva Vault client content management system
    • Works orders, open clients/jobs, etc.
    • Timesheet reminders


  • At least 4 years of agency project management/traffic experience; pharmaceutical/life sciences advertising experience preferred, but not required
  • Willing to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Keen understanding of advertising principles and creative project process terminology
  • Familiarity with Webvantage and the Veeva Vault content management system a plus
  • Knowledge of:
    • Social Media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat
    • Microsoft Suite of programs including, MS Project and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience overseeing digital projects such as email, banner and social media campaigns and will have working knowledge of the development lifecycle of such projects
  • Resolves complex production and project issues with a collaborative solutions-based approach
  • Recognizes the simultaneous need for rigorous adherence to process and the flexibility to adapt to inevitable changes along the way
  • Collaborates to lead a cross-functional team on a project basis
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Has a working understanding of web technology and online media
  • Has experience working with a formal client regulatory review process
