The Group Account Director is responsible for driving the overall management of a portfolio of senior living accounts, predominantly in some stage of development or redevelopment. This position is responsible for the overall strategy, service and profitability of assigned accounts, and serves as the primary leader of the business, supported by their team of account people (typically Account Supervisor- and account manager-level associates) who report directly to this position.
As an industry expert, the Group Account Director functions as the client’s chief strategist—developing and presenting marketing recommendations. Responsible for inspiring and driving effective solutions in response to the client’s key business problems. They proactively seek opportunities to contribute to the client’s business and marketing strategy development and champion ideas in all their forms, articulate them, and hold work to account against them. They also champion the creative campaign with clients, articulating data-supported ideas to solve the business challenge(s), ensure monitoring and evaluation of those ideas and responsibility for the effect they create in the market.
