Account Manager, Senior Living

The Account Manager position at LevLane is to provide day-to-day support to the Account Lead on multiple clients with multiple projects. This position reports directly to the Group Account Director and ultimately to the department head (i.e., Director of Client Services).

In their role, the Account Manager will develop an understanding of basic business concepts, practices, and procedures as they interface with different departments of the Agency. The next step in the career path of the Account Manager is the promotion to Senior Account Manager.

The Account Manager will help ensure smooth execution of the work, provide the highest quality customer service and a seamless execution of tactics provided by our internal teams. This position will also touch on Internal/External Communications, Budget Tracking, Workflow Process, Interaction with Internal Teams, Understanding Agency Disciplines and Strategic Planning.

Key skill sets for a successful Account Manager include being organized and detail oriented, time efficient, able to multitask, and able to cope in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. The Account Manager assists with client reports and presentations; and project coordination, timelines, and budgets. While the Group Account Director is the primary client contact, this position is highly active with clients by responding to needs and requests pertaining to daily production tasks and projects.

Client Relationship Building: 

  • Communicate with our clients to move work initiated by the Account Lead through the production process
  • Participate in weekly client status calls
  • Learn from Group Account Director how to develop the skills and techniques necessary for strategic guidance and integrated, goals-based planning

Account & Project Management:

  • Coordinate, manage, and execute the logistics, scheduling and production needs for multiple projects (both digital and print)
  • Confer with key team members to develop a project plan, milestones, and required tasks with assigned resources for each project
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate time-sensitive, up-to-date project schedules, while working closely with Web Dev, Production, Creative, Media and Account Services
  • Responsible for opening new projects in the system, processing work orders/project briefs, and assigning hours and tasks in the schedule to meet deadlines
  • Maintain daily project management system (Workamajig) status updates consisting of work in progress, upcoming work, and expectations from departments through specified time frame
  • Follow up to ensure project goals are being met and provide direction and solutions to issues when needed with input from Account Lead
  • Ensure that each project deliverable is routed to internal team members for approval, and is proofed for spelling, grammar, phone numbers, content and dates
  • Maintain current and consistent project files and folders (Server and MS Teams)
  • Monitor departments to ensure efficient time management and tracking

Financial Management:

  • Work with senior account team members to manage the clients’ total budget and ongoing financial reconciliations
  • Work with senior account team members to establish forecasts and ensure that financial goals are met/exceeded

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must have at least 1-2 years of related professional career experience; advertising agency experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and self-accountability
  • Strong proofing skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on time
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with digital project management platforms (i.e., Workamajig)
  • Good communicator with a combination of listening, speaking, and writing skills
  • Willingness to learn with a strong interest in marketing/advertising
  • Passion for progressive marketing regardless of marketing channel
  • Analytical skills to identify implications from marketing data and budgets
  • A creative thinker with a passion for generating great ideas on behalf of our clients
  • An articulate, friendly, “whatever-it-takes” attitude, along with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness and ability to travel often, as needed to clients
